gnuplot software package provides A command-line driven interactive plotting program, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnuplot
gnuplot is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnuplot package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnuplot *
You will get with gnuplot package name, version, architecture and description in a table
